Day 01: Delhi (Arrival)
Around midnight arrival in Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Bagdogra (by air) - Darjeeling (about 100 km)
In the morning you will drive to the airport for the flight to Bagdogra. After the arrival in Bagdogra you will proceed north of the state through the coniferous forests and terraced tea gardens to Darjeeling. If there is clear weather you can enjoy the impressive and unforgettable views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 03: Darjeeling
Early in the morning you will drive to Tiger Hill (around 11 km) to enjoy the sunrise. Tiger Hill (2590 m) is the highest point in this area. There is a breathtaking view of the sunrise on the Kanchenjunga. In the afternoon you will explore Darjeeling and its surroundings. You will visit the village Lablong and the institute of mountaineering where you will get the detailed information about the natural surrounding and the habitants of this area.
Day 04: Darjeeling - Kalimpong
Today you will drive to Kalimpong, a remote hill station which has been a meeting point of the once "three closed lands" on the trade route to Tibet. In the afternoon arrive in Kalimpong. In the evening you will visit the Kalimpong Market.
Day 05: Kalimpong - Melli - Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary
Today you will drive to Melli for White Water Rafting in the River Teesta. The Teesta river originates from the Lake Cholamu where it looks like a silent stream. Here you can enjoy the river rafting. In the afternoon drive to Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary.
Day 06: Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary - Siliguri
In the morning you will have safari in the wildlife sanctuary. Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary covers an area of 116 square km. Here one can view the animals like the one-horned rhino, elephants, wild boar, deer, leopard, gaur and the tiger. In the afternoon after visiting this sanctuary you will drive to Siliguri.
Day 07: Siliguri - Bagdogra (about 80 km) - Delhi (by air)
In the morning you will drive to the Bagdogra airport. In the morning you will have the flight to New Delhi. In the afternoon arrive in New Delhi.
Day 08: Delhi (Departure)
Around midnight flight to home destination.
